| For over seven years Laverock have been
entertaining crowds from venues ranging from exhibition centres to
lorries to village halls all over Scotland. Some of our career
highlights have included playing on the back of a lorry at the Ythan
Raft Race, playing whilst being dragged by tractor and trailer across
a North East Beach, making over 600 people dance in the Aberdeen Exhibition
and Conference Centre and creating our very own music at various recording
studios. Key to our success has been the ability never to take ourselves too seriously, nor stop enjoying our musical efforts. We pride ourselves on creating a flexible, approachable and most importantly, an enjoyable Scottish musical experience. We cater for anything from traditional country dances to crowds who have little awareness of the finer nuances of ceilidh dancing. Laverock have played at weddings ranging from traditional highland nuptials to informal marital unions; corporate events including the likes of fundraisers, balls and Burns Suppers; hotel parties, family gatherings, birthday parties, outdoor events and ceilidhs. |
